1. The directory
ServiceSeekers is a directory that helps people find local businesses in South Africa. We are not a party to any agreement between a visitor and a business. We review listings before publishing, but we do not guarantee the quality, pricing, licensing or conduct of any business. Always confirm scope and price in writing before work starts.
2. Listing a business
- You must be authorised to list the business and the information you submit must be true and lawful.
- We may decline, edit or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, offensive or unlawful.
- You grant us permission to display the details and photos you submit on the website.
3. Subscriptions and cancellation
- Listings cost R99 per month (debit order via PayFast) or R999 per year (once-off payment for 12 months).
- Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime; the listing stays live until the end of the paid month.
- Yearly payments cover 12 months and are not refunded for unused time, except where the Consumer Protection Act requires it.
- Listings that are not paid for may be removed.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, scrape it, submit spam or attempt to interfere with its operation.
5. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ServiceSeekers is not liable for loss arising from your dealings with businesses listed on the site or from temporary unavailability of the website.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
